Kayak Instruction, Level 1

This 1-hr instructional session is ideal for beginners!

We’ll provide basic instructions for beginners on-land, with entering the kayak, proper body position, paddle handling and strokes, and more. On-water instruction includes maneuvering and paddling.

Additional topics include: tips on how to read the river, safely exiting in a spill, and more. The class ends with a guided paddle tour offering individual help as needed.

The class fee includes kayak, paddles, pfd’s, and instruction.
