Attendees will depart our location at 12pm on Saturday, June 8, for the 6-mile guided paddle (with Amanda) along a lovely, quiet section of the Schuylkill. Following dinner, Jen will lead us in a refreshing Yoga Nidra and gong bath session–details are below and can be found on Jen's website (link also below). Once everyone is relaxed, we'll light the fire and enjoy a night in The Grove. A light breakfast will be provided in the morning.
Reservations are required, and this event is subject to weather and water conditions. Should conditions warrant postponement, ticket holders will have the option for a full refund or a credit to RTO. This is a LIMITED-SPACE EVENT, so please finalize your reservation ASAP!
More About Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation also known as “yogic sleep” or “effortless relaxation.” It’s usually practiced lying down with a teacher guiding the session. The practice draws our attention inwards, and we learn to surf between the states of wakefulness and sleep, where our body finds its natural state of equilibrium (homeostasis) – the breath balances and becomes quiet, unconscious and conscious aspects of the mind reveal themselves, and we fall into an innate state of deep, blissful awareness.
