Ladies' Kayak Paddle, June 13

This is a for-women, by-women trip on one of the Schuylkill River's most relaxing and scenic stretches. We'll put in at the Exeter bridge and take out at our base in Douglassville. Trip runs about 2-3 hours, depending on our pace and water levels. 

• Arrive at RTO for check-in at 6 pm
• Depart RTO @ 6:30 pm; ETA to RTO HQ 8:30-9:00 pm

Please Note: All dates are solely dependent on the weather and temperature. We evaluate weather, temperature, cloud cover, and river conditions and make a final call by noon. Anyone who has pre-registered will be notified if a date change is necessary.

Tickets & Cost

• ** RSVP/TICKET REQUIRED **
• $55/person per rental (includes a kayak, paddle, and life jacket)
• - OR - $25/person per transport (for those bringing their own equipment)
• RTO has both Sit-On-Top and Sit-In kayaks available

Trip Recommendations

• Pack a cooler for a snack along the way
• Wear sturdy sandals for better traction, comfort, and safety
• Bug spray and a long-sleeve shirt or light jacket recommended
• Boat lights, headlamps, and/or other personal lighting required (glowsticks, etc.)
• Recommended for experienced paddlers
• Children 13+ only must be accompanied by a parent
• Must have prior paddling experience
